Terms and Conditions

The website www.asajournal.lt is owned and operated by the state budgetary organisation Lithuanian Culture Institute, legal entity code 301505599, whose registered office is at Z. Sierakausko str. 15, Vilnius, Lithuania. All rights, obligations, specials, orders and agreements that fall under these General Terms and Conditions, and under this condition, are applicable under Lithuanian Jurisdiction and Law.

General

These terms and conditions apply to all sales and agreements between AS A JOURNAL and the consumer (you), whereby AS A JOURNAL will apply these conditions unless agreed otherwise in a written form. If the products are ordered from AS A JOURNAL, you automatically accept the stipulations set out in this document.

Orders

Once an order has been successfully placed, we will happily confirm the order by e-mail. All orders will be send within 5 working days after receipt of payment. In the case of technical malfunction, however, which falls under the category of circumstances beyond our control, an order will be shipped as soon as possible. We will keep you informed of the status of it.

We estimate the magazines to reach you within 2-3 weeks in Lithuania and Europe, elsewhere it may take up to 4 weeks to arrive.

Prices and Payment

We accept payments via PaySera (direct bank payments and bank cards). Alternatively, you can request an invoice by emailing asajournal@lithuanianculture.lt and paying by a bank transfer. All product prices are listed in EUROS (Eur) and including 9% VAT. The prices mentioned in our online store are exclusive of shipping and handling, except for a subscription offer (where standart shipping is already included in the product price).

Shipping Costs and Delivery

The place of delivery is the address that you provided during the transaction. The farther your print copy is shipped, the higher the shipping cost.

Shipping cost in Lithuania: 2 Eur.
Within the European Union: 7,5 Eur.
Outside the European Union: 10 Eur.

All shipping services are provided by Lithuanian Post. The stated delivery times (2-3 weeks in Lithuania and Europe, up to 4 weeks elsewhere) are indicative. In the unlikely event that a magazine is lost on its way to you, please email asajournal@lithuanianculture.lt and we will arrange for either replacement or a refund.

Subscription

We offer two subscription options – 1 year (2 magazine issues) and 2 years (4 magazine issues). After placing the order you will receive your first print copy by registered mail between 2 and 4 weeks after we publish each new issue (scheduled for June and October). The subscription will expire after you receive the chosen number of magazines (e.g., if you subscribe to 2 issues, the subscription will expire after you receive the second issue; if you subscribe to 4 issues, it will expire after 4 magazine issues will be sent to you).

AS A JOURNAL subscribers can cancel their subscription at any time and receive a refund for any issues not sent as well as the proportional shipping cost balance. If you wish to do so, please email asajournal@lithuanianculture.lt.

Returns

According to Lithuanian and European Law, printed books and magazines are excluded from the right to return, as long as the item you received complies with all the guarantees. In the unlikely event that your magazine arrives damaged, please contact us within 14 days to receive a replacement (if the issue is still in stock) or a refund.

Privacy

We take privacy and security of your information very seriously. We will not give your consumer’s personal information to third parties, except when the information is required for the delivery of the order. When making an order, we require your name, billing and delivery addresses, and payment details so that an order can be processed. The payment details will only be used to conclude the payment process.

Records of website visits are kept for statistical purposes. Information concerning the amount of visitors and visitor frequency to our website will be used for internal research and website improvement. However, this general information is anonymous and cannot be traced back to the individual visitor.

All information on AS A JOURNAL website is protected by copyright. The material on this site may not be reproduced, distributed, transmitted, cached or otherwise used, except with the prior written permission of the Lithuanian Culture Institute.

Queries/Complaints

In the case of queries or complaints concerning any of our products or procedures, please inform us by email asajournal@lithuanianculture.lt. You will receive a reply within three working days.
