Tomas Terekas is a multidisciplinary photographer whose practice spans traditional and experimental approaches, including collages, object-based work, and installations. Constantly challenging his own creative limits as well as the conventions of the genre, he strives to ensure that neither he nor his audience ever finds the work mundane. His work often oscillates between kitsch, religious imagery, and provocative ethos. A self-described hoarder, collector, and recycler, Terekas incorporates everyday objects and found materials into his art, blurring the lines between work and daily life.
